Brief:
To produce a content managed website and archive library of downloadable stock footage which uses the Quicktime H.264 Codec.
Using a design produced by platform09 (prior to Balance being engaged), we were commissioned for the technical development of the site and system.
Working with the SDK for Apple's QuickTime 7.0 the backend system required automatic thumbnail selection from a frame midway through each clip.
The system supports bulk loading of clips and data and has a fully searchable and browseable database.
Both the site and system had to be tested extensively for various browsers on both the Mac and PC Platforms.
